Prima is the owner and operator of Saltwater, a small café on Cora Blue’s boardwalk. Saltwater specializes in homemade sweets and fresh coffee, served in a small but homely environment. Though Prima’s scowl turns off many, its part if the café’s over all charm that makes the Saltwater what it is.

History:
Prima was going to be big… at least that’s what the production and advertising team said. They projected an increase desire for all things simple and nostalgic, making her the perfect gift for the holiday season. For months leading up to her big reveal, Prima was treated like a star. First class accommodations, packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and travel to all corners of the globe everything she could have asked for and more.
But her gravy train ended when the testers came in. For the first time since her creation, Prima was played with by a focus group of children. She wasn’t a hit with many of the kids dropping her for being ‘boring’ and ‘stupid.’
It was decided by the production team to stop the project all together and scramble to make a replacement, something that was colorful, edgy, and ran on four double-A batteries. She was left in a company storage facility for a time. She was able to see the light of day every so often when the company tried to revamp the project but she was always reject and left in a small box.
During another one of Prima’s failed revamps, she found the letter for the mysterious Toy isle. She figured anything was better than staying in that box for another time…

Personality:
Prima would more likely scowl than smile. She’s crabby, sassy, easily annoyed, and has zero patience for incompetence. This stems from her neglect and disappointment from all those years of being constantly being hyped and celebrated only to be tossed off to the side. She also can be very cold towards any toy she perceived to be ‘all flash and no substance.’ But don’t let her abrasiveness scare you off. She actually is quite generous, caring and a good listener if needed.
